NOW HIRING FORKLIFT DRIVERS- GASTONIA, NC

We're looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our team. This hands-on role will involve receiving shipping manifest and pulls product in proper rotation order while maximizing cube of trailer.

Pau:$17.48 per hour

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product that needs loaded to destinations.
• Unloads inbound trailers with purchased products and puts into inventory.
• Operates forklift when loading and unloading.
• Operates stand up & Sit down fork lift when loading and unloading.
• Maintains integrity of rows and stands of product when pulling or adding to inventory.
• Stacks empty pallets and places on conveyor or in a trailer.
• Loads and unloads conveyor as required per warehouse and operates scanning devices.
• Assures proper code rotation.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.

Requirements

• Works with management and fellow associates to ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
• Reports food, office or operational safety problems to a supervisor or manager for initiating action
• Performs other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.
• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on the job training.
• Requires forklift operator’s license.
• Required to wear non-slip steeltoe shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment
