Warehouse Clerk / Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Union, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

A growing warehouse and distribution operation in Union, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk / Inventory Control Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in both a warehouse and office setting and has strong spreadsheet and inventory management skills.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced with tracking inventory, maintaining accurate records, and supporting warehouse logistics through data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits/cycle counts
Update and manage inventory spreadsheets and warehouse reports
Track incoming and outgoing shipments and reconcile discrepancies
Assist with data entry, inventory adjustments, and product tracking
Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and stock movement
Generate reports using Excel and warehouse management systems
Assist with shipping, receiving, and order documentation as needed
Ensure inventory control procedures are followed consistently
Communicate with management regarding shortages, overages, and inventory concerns
Support general warehouse administrative tasks

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse clerk, inventory control, or warehouse administrative role
Strong Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet experience required
Experience with inventory tracking systems or ERP/WMS software preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working between office and warehouse operations
Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
