Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting to join our team. This position is located in Richmond, VA, within a unit dedicated to rehabilitation therapy.

General Information

Unit Name: Rehab Therapy
Number of Beds: 44
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Unit Staffing: 10 Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 technician
Type of Equipment: Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, Diego
Documentation System: Meditech Expanse

Scheduling Requirements

Monday through Friday
8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Weekend shifts may rotate
May float to an acute hospital if rehab census is low

Patient Experience Requirements

Staff are expected to utilize AIDET communication techniques and implement immediate service recovery strategies to enhance patient experience.

Certifications and Skills

Required Skills: Experience in a hospital and inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred, particularly in stroke evaluation and treatment.
Advanced Skills: Not applicable for this position.
Certifications Required: None specified.

The preferred dress code consists of black scrub bottoms and royal blue tops.
