Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations or disabilities to develop effective treatment plans geared towards their rehabilitation goals.
• Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to state practice acts and relevant laws, ensuring compliance in all aspects of service delivery.
• Treatment Implementation: Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols derived from evaluations to create a tailored approach to each patient's therapy, updating treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care and make timely adjustments to treatment plans when patient conditions change.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to provide a clear picture of the patient's care journey.
• Quality of Care: Execute and monitor daily treatments with a commitment to high-quality care and departmental efficiency.
• Educational Engagement: Attend and participate in team meetings, medical rounds, and professional development inservices to remain abreast of best practices and innovative care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, ranging from those recovering from surgery to individuals with chronic pain or neurological conditions. Your role extends beyond simple therapy; you will empower patients by building their strength and endurance, while also addressing emotional and psychological aspects that influence their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and relationship-building.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with digital health applications or solutions related to physical therapy is highly desirable.
