Technology Director, Finance - O2C

Responsibilities Lead the planning, architecture, solution design, and implementation of applications supporting global Order-to-Cash processes, starting with SAP S/4 Sales & Distribution (SD) and satellite applications such as Vertex to support medical device business processes. Lead design, integration, and optimization of credit check, pricing integration, billing, and invoicing solutions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability. Ensure seamless integration between Finance ERP and upstream/downstream commercial and operational systems. Oversee commercial reporting capabilities, including daily sales, revenue and margin reporting, open order visibility, and inventory reporting. Partner with Finance and Commercial stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technology roadmaps and solution designs. Provide governance and oversight for system changes, ensuring strong controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness. Lead, coach, and develop technology teams and system integrator partners to deliver high-quality outcomes. Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and data‑driven insights. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (required). Master’s degree or MBA (preferred). Proven experience (10+ years) in enterprise IT with leadership responsibility for SAP S/4 Order to Cash and satellite applications. Deep hands‑on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash, including but not limited to SD and Revenue Recognition. Proven experience delivering credit management, pricing, billing, and invoicing integrations. Strong understanding of commercial and financial reporting (sales, revenue, margin, open orders, inventory). Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior Finance and business leaders. Experience operating in a regulated, SOX‑compliant environment. Certifications: SAP or Finance systems certifications preferred.
