We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate is skilled in baking, pastry production, and cake decorating.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scale and mix batters, doughs, creams, mousses, fillings, and frostings.
• Prepare cream or mousse cakes, pies, tarts, individual desserts, petit fours, mini pastries, cookies, specialty desserts, and custom orders.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Follow production schedules and complete orders on time.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards; and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Assist with inventory and ingredient ordering, and help supervise pastry staff when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Cake Decorator .
• Strong baking, mixing, pastry, and cake decorating skills.
• Experience with mousses, cream cakes, pies, individual desserts, petit fours, and mini pastries .
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
