Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate is skilled in baking, pastry production, cake decorating, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Mix, bake, assemble, decorate, and finish cakes and pastries.

Prepare cream cakes, mousse cakes, pies, tarts, individual desserts, petit fours, and mini pastries.

Prepare cookies, specialty desserts, and custom orders.

Accurately scale and mix batters, doughs, creams, mousses, fillings, and frostings.

Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer specifications and bakery standards.

Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion sizes.

Follow production schedules and complete orders on time.

Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.

Follow food safety and sanitation standards.

Assist with inventory and ingredient ordering.

Work as part of a team and help supervise pastry staff when needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Cake Decorator.

Strong baking, mixing, pastry, and cake decorating skills.

Experience with mousses, cream cakes, pies, individual desserts, petit fours, and mini pastries.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong attention to detail and organization.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

Reliable, dependable, and a strong team player.

Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
