Sales Representative - Detroit, MI
Treace Medical
Treace Medical seeks a sales representative in Detroit to promote orthopedic medical devices and procedures to surgeons and surgical facilities. The role combines field sales, product training, and relationship management with significant travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new customer accounts and follow up on company-generated leads
- Conduct product training for surgeons including didactic and cadaveric sessions
- Support surgeons in operating room and emergency environments for patient outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with key account personnel
- Provide feedback to marketing team on product design and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of field sales experience
- Ability to travel locally up to 90% and overnight up to 20% of the time
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
- Willingness to complete and maintain hospital credentialing requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Subject matter expertise development for medical products
