About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Academic Operations and Assistant Chief Academic Officer to lead the design and execution of systems, infrastructure, and processes that ensure consistent, high-quality academic delivery across its multi-campus, multi-program, and multi-modality institution. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a strong background in a health sciences discipline, including experience in hybrid and online education. This role is pivotal in translating the institution's strategic vision into operational plans, driving performance in areas such as academic scheduling, faculty workload optimization, curriculum operations, and accreditation readiness. The Dean will work closely with academic and administrative leaders to foster innovation, strengthen academic quality, and ensure alignment in support of student success and the institution's mission. Applicants for the Dean of Academic Operations and Assistant Chief Academic Officer position at the company should have a minimum of a master's degree with an earned entry-level clinical degree and 7-10 years of progressive academic administrative experience in a higher education environment. The role requires a leader with proven senior administrative experience in complex, multi-campus or matrixed environments, and a strong understanding of graduate-level academic program delivery. The ideal candidate will have a track record of driving operational performance, solving complex problems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include strategic execution, operational alignment, instructional pathway and resource coordination, faculty planning and utilization, curriculum operations, policy governance, and academic governance operations. The role also involves external relations, financial and operational management, and providing leadership for academic services.
