Engineer - Distribution (Electric)

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Job Type: Contract Expected Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week Job Purpose Prepare designs, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway street lighting, parking lot lighting, and property/site lighting projects in accordance with OUC policies and standards. Oversee and manage both capital and maintenance projects. Primary Responsibilities Prepare design plans, specifications, cost estimates, photometric analyses, and lighting/security studies Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Distribution Engineering, Transmission Engineering) and external agencies (e.g., FDOT, city/county officials) on lighting projects Collaborate with developers, field personnel, contractors, and customers to ensure project requirements are met Apply relevant standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices in lighting design and construction Participate in conferences, seminars, webinars, and training to stay current on industry standards, products, and regulations Perform additional duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
