Execute both internal and external collection activities on delinquent accounts. Oversee the coordination of the Courtesy Pay program, including the collection of negative or past-due accounts, ensuring compliance with related procedures. Provide support in handling bankruptcy claims. Assist in the sale of repossessions. Complete and process insurance claim forms for members. Manage skip-a-payment requests. Follow up on collateral protection insurance. Maintain and update necessary reports. Attend all mandatory meetings. Foster a positive work environment within the Member Solutions Department and encourage professional inter-departmental communication. Ensure a clean and professional work area and appearance. Maintain positive public relations and promote the credit union within the community. Promote credit union products and services. Process and send required paperwork to external collection agencies as needed. Undertake additional collection-related tasks as assigned. Participate in required educational programs.

High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in credit analysis. Typing skills and computer literacy. At least 1 year of experience in the field of collections. In-depth knowledge of collection laws and regulations. Outstanding organizational skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure. A team player.
