Billing & Collections Specialist (Temporary Project)

Bethlehem, PA Area | Fully Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist for a temporary project with a well-established organization in the Bethlehem, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys researching discrepancies, resolving payment issues, and improving the accuracy of financial records.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Fully onsite

Project Duration:

• Estimated 3 months to 1 year, depending on project needs and progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve misapplied customer payments within Accounts Receivable
• Investigate and correct billing discrepancies
• Review vendor payment activity and identify duplicate payments
• Assist with Accounts Receivable cleanup and reconciliation projects
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records
• Maintain detailed documentation of findings and resolutions

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in billing, collections, Accounts Receivable, or related accounting functions
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
