Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered, mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered Must-Have: Must have experience working with stroke patients Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed COVID vaccine required, refusals not accepted Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. The position adheres to standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. The role is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care. Care must be appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
