CNC Machine Operator


Pay: $23.00-$28.00+ per hour, based on experience
Experienced CNC Programmers may qualify for higher pay rates


Express Employment Professionals is recruiting experienced CNC Machine Operators and CNC Machinists for multiple manufacturing clients in our local area.


If you have experience with CNC machining, CNC setup, multi-axis CNC equipment, blueprint reading, precision measuring tools or CNC programming , we want to hear from you.


Multiple opportunities are available, and responsibilities and pay rates may vary based on the position and your level of CNC experience.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Set up, operate and maintain multi-axis CNC machines and equipment
• Read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings and specification sheets
• Prepare raw materials and load and unload parts for CNC production
• Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet required specifications
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers and indicators
• Work with tight tolerances up to .0001 inch
• Document inspections using PC-based software and generate inspection reports
• Generate and maintain CNC programs for specific product lines when required
• Make adjustments and improvements to CNC processes to improve production results
• Perform daily machine maintenance to ensure proper operation
• Maintain and understand daily production records
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous CNC Machine Operator or CNC Machinist experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• CNC certification is a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings and specifications
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions
• Ability to bend, stretch and reach to properly load and unload parts
• Ability to safely lift 10-25 pounds
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity for precision manufacturing work

Experience with CNC setup, CNC programming, multi-axis machining and tight-tolerance manufacturing may qualify candidates for higher-level opportunities and pay rates.

PAY


$23.00-$28.00+ per hour , depending on CNC experience and the specific opportunity.


CNC Programmers and candidates with advanced setup or programming experience may qualify for higher pay rates.

PAY & BENEFITS
Express Employment Professionals associates are paid hourly unless otherwise noted. Associates accrue paid sick leave in accordance with Connecticut law.
