As a paraprofessional in this school-based contract position, you’ll collaborate directly with the special education director. Your ability to communicate effectively, exhibit patience, and juggle multiple tasks will be highly valued. If you have experience as an administrative assistant, your organizational skills and attention to detail will give you an extra edge in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in schools strongly preferred
• Background working alongside educators or in special education settings is a plus
• Administrative assistant experience beneficial; strong organizational and clerical skills desired
• Ability to support a variety of day-to-day tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help students succeed

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide hands-on support to the special education director
• Assist with clerical tasks, record-keeping, scheduling, and communications
• Support the implementation of educational plans and accommodations for students
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students and staff
• Address daily logistical needs and special projects as assigned
