Resort Restaurant Supervisor

As the supervisor at the resort restaurants, you'll be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the front-of-house team. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll assist in training and providing team oversight. With a passion for guest service, you'll lead the team in the creation of memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Located in California's Olympic Valley, Everline Resort & Spa provides a premier mountain getaway to North Lake Tahoe. The resort offers a year-round destination with ski-in/ski-out access to Palisades Tahoe, the third largest ski resort in North America, a championship golf, relaxing spa treatments and a wide range of recreational activities. Responsibilities include:

• Working in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager to ensure outstanding customer service and profitability within the Restaurant operations daily
• Complying with all Liquor and Labor regulations
• Reinforcement of department and company standards through training including all Everline policies, procedures and safety regulations
• Understanding POS system (InfoGenesis), updating changes and training staff in its use
• The correct administration and supervision of restaurant reservations
• The proper use of supplies, materials, and equipment
• Attending all meetings required of Department Leaders
• Maintaining a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
• Assisting in the development and execution of new promotions, events, etc.
• Responsible for the service standards of the outlets
• Maintaining strong knowledge of hospitality trends, especially in food & beverage
• Monitoring Revinate scores, sharing with team and ensuring service standards are met
• Assisting with scheduling and payroll for all outlets Adjust daily staffing levels as appropriate
• Providing prompt follow-up to all guest concerns
• Touching tables in all outlets to strengthen guest relations
• Maintaining a safe and pleasant work environment
• Assisting in managing Outlet F&B storage
• Working closely with purchasing to ensure proper cost control and quality product
• Recommending discipline and/or termination when appropriate of team members to management
• Resolving guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness
• Offering warm and sincere welcome/farewell to all guests of Everline Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
• Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
• Interacting with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
• Remaining alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all time
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• At least three years of fine dining food and beverage experience preferred
• Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• At least 2 years of supervision in a hospitality setting
• Sommelier, Cicerone and mixology experience a plus
• Provide valid food handler and RBS from California within 30 days of hire

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the workplace is usually moderate to high.
• Typical equipment used include but are not limited to computers, POS systems, handheld devices, phones and household cleaning supplies.

Wage Range: $26/hr - $28/hr
