We are seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional beverage experiences rooted in thoughtful, heartfelt hospitality. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about craft cocktails, guest engagement, and developing a high-performing team.

The Bar Supervisor works closely with restaurant leadership to oversee daily bar operations, support bartenders and servers, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional beverage experience. This role leads by example on the floor while upholding Lyle's culture, mission, and commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Bar Supervisor – Essential Functions

• Lead and support the daily operations of the bar while maintaining exceptional service standards
• Supervise, coach, and motivate bartenders and bar support team members
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to detail
• Ensure all cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits are served according to recipes, presentation standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Anticipate guest needs and create thoughtful, memorable experiences
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels throughout each shift
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and minimizing product waste
• Support onboarding and training of new team members while promoting continuous development
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership, servers, and culinary teams to ensure seamless service
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, and alcohol service regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by restaurant leadership

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Previous bartending experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• 1–2 years of restaurant or bar experience in an upscale or high-volume environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
• Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
• Hotel experience is not required—a fun, welcoming personality is a must
• Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

$14.00 - $15.00 plus gratuity
