Superintendent - Electrical

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to provide field leadership and technical support for large-scale commercial electrical projects. As a superintendent, you will oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations for complex electrical systems and associated control systems on large-scale commercial projects ranging from $100K to $3M projects. Additionally, you will direct the day-to-day work activities of other mechanics, apprentices, and helpers (groups of 10-15) to ensure projects are completed safely and in accordance with budget and quality standards. LOCATION:

This position is based out of headquarters in Richmond, VA. Projects/jobsites will range anywhere up to an hour away from Richmond Perks of joining ColonialWebb: Competitive salary of $84,000 - $140,000 Career development and progression 401(k) plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives A day in the life: Supervise and coordinate work activities for electrical mechanics, apprentices, and helpers Responsible for managing 10-15 electricians at a time Provide guidance and demonstrate best practices to other electricians, apprentices, and helpers Perform/aid in electrical installation when needed Demonstrate a passion for safety, help your team understand that safety is the top priority Teaching and coaching behaviors that will truly prevent injury In collaboration with Electrical Project Manager, discuss labor and material requirements as well as evaluate work in progress to ensure electrical services performed meet scheduling, budget, and quality standards You should have: Current or previous leadership experience as a Lead Electrician, Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent working on commercial electrical projects In-depth experience and knowledge of commercial electrical and control systems 7+ years of experience (preferred, but not required) Journeyman or Master's Electrical License (preferred, but not required) Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and plans Safety minded and thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Experience and demonstrated skills in Microsoft office and internet usage High energy level to handle dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced workload Skillful listener, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check EOE M/W/Disability/Vets Veterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply ColonialWebb
