Occupational Therapist School Setting - Methuen, MA

Qualifications & Experience: Valid and active Occupational Therapy license required Previous experience or practicum in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with the needs of K-12 populations and ability to adapt interventions across grade levels Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Enthusiasm for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Develop, implement, and update therapy goals and plans tailored to each students needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to promote student access and participation Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation per school and legal guidelines Offer consultation to teachers and parents, ensuring carryover of therapeutic strategies in the classroom and home This contract role is scheduled for three days per week, perfectly suited for those seeking work-life harmony while maintaining meaningful clinical practice.
