Experienced Shipping Clerk
Zephyr Tool Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipments using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, and LTL/TL freight carriers
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping logistics
- Accurately package, label, and document outbound shipments
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving records
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers
- Verify contents of shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Lift and move packages up to 75 lbs regularly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse or logistics setting not required but a plus.
- Proficiency with a computer and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems a plus
- Familiarity with customs forms and international compliance regulations a plus
