The job:

This is a Project Superintendent leading builds of large free standing structures such as warehouses and similar facilities in the 100k to 300k square foot range. Chances are as an experienced superintendent, you know that it's key to understand project delivery, time management, and how to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen conditions that are bound to arise. On a day to day basis, you'll be monitoring and holding accountable subcontractors and vendors to drive the schedule, and coordinate / manage on-site meetings, building trade inspections, and 3rd party testing and inspections. You are knowledgeable on structural precast/ tilt up construction methods, experienced at industrial tenant build-out projects. You understand that it's critical to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, consultants, vendors, and peers, adapting style to the audience. You'll work with architects, engineers, sub-contractors, and other vendors throughout all phases of a project and

What it takes:

• Education: Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years of commercial construction supervision experience with projects of similar size and scope.
• Must be well-versed in all commercial construction methodologies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Must be a results-oriented team player with exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter driven to complete projects on time and on budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Expertise in Excel, Procore, Smartsheet preferred.
• Experience with design-build projects preferred.
• Currently live in or relocate to central Ohio.
