Job Summary This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for all assigned areas on campus which include: public buildings, private offices, event venues, student dormitories, student rooms and cooking and eating facilities. IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs a variety of activities including: cleaning, disinfecting/sanitizing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc… Collects and removes trash and debris Spot checks tile floors and windows on a daily basis and cleans accordingly Ensures all areas assigned to are cared for and inspected according to standards Maintains organized and fully stocked supply storage closets Inventories cleaning supplies and equipment and requisitions on a weekly basis Completes routine inspections of all assigned areas on a monthly basis and notes items and areas that need in-depth attention Other duties as assigned V. Education and Experience High School diploma or GED Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper VII.
