Description

Telemetry Technician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .6 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 2, 12 hour shifts per week) with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Extra Incentives:

The Tech-Monitor under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, has the responsibility for monitoring, documenting, and reporting the ECG activity of patients on the telemetry unit. The position is an important communication link with the RN regarding changes in cardiac rhythms.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Satisfactory completion of a Medical terminology course. Or equivalent educ/experience
• Coursework/Training Completion of a basic ECG course, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
