Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented individual to help provide the most efficient dental care for our community. You would be joining a wonderful, laid-back, existing team of Dental Hygienists, with an established and thorough periodontal protocol. This position offers flexible hours with great benefits and the opportunity to join a close-knit team.
Responsibilities

• Conduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments and dental history reviews
• Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Document patient care and treatment plans in dental records
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Monitor and maintain sterilization protocols for dental instruments and equipment
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Essential Skills

• Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri
• CPR Certification
• Nitrous Oxide and Block Anesthesia Certification
• Ability to numb own patients
• Experience working with digital dental software (digital records, radiographs, intraoral camera)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73840.00 - $101530.00/yr.
