Senior Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional seeking a leadership role with significant client exposure, career growth potential, and the ability to make a meaningful impact.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage tax engagements for a variety of client entities, including corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts, estates, and individuals* Review complex federal, multi-state, and individual income tax returns for accuracy and compliance* Develop and review sophisticated tax planning strategies and projections for business and individual clients* Manage client relationships, project timelines, and tax filing deadlines* Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on complex tax matters* Represent clients in interactions with federal, state, and local tax authorities, including audits and inquiries* Mentor, develop, and supervise tax professionals, providing technical guidance and leadership* Support business development efforts through client consultations, proposals, and networking activities* Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to tax technology, processes, and workflows* Participate in consulting engagements and special projects as neededRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred* Active CPA designation required* 10+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting environment* Experience serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals* Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing tax professionals* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state taxation* Excellent communication, project management, and client relationship skills* Tax controversy, audit defense, or tax authority interaction experience preferredJob TypeDirect HireCompensation200000 - $250000
