Sr Sales Representative-Process Automation (Southeast region)

As a Sr Sales Representative at Honeywell, you will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) organization. Your role is to build relationships, understand customer business, and deliver appropriate products or solutions. About Honeywell Process Solutions Honeywell Process Solutions is a pioneer in automation control, instrumentation and services for a broad range of industries including oil and gas, refining, energy, pulp and paper, industrial power generation, chemicals, petrochemicals, biofuels, life sciences, metals, minerals and mining. To learn more about HPS Position Overview Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers, aligning with critical business objectives. Identify opportunities, build credibility, and utilize product knowledge to deliver a compelling value proposition. Key Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify where Honeywell can add value through technology and solutions. Penetrate new markets or accounts, identify and develop relationships with key decision makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiated solutions, negotiate, and win the business. Identify opportunities for replacing competitive solutions with Honeywell solutions, qualify those opportunities, progress them, and close deals. Leverage internal resources to maximize win rates. Represent Honeywell in a responsive, professional, proactive, and ethical manner that reflects well on our company and core values. Engage at multiple levels within target customers. Coordinate customer-facing and internal efforts to produce winning value propositions and proposals that win orders and exceed targets. Apply best‑in‑class sales methodology to maximize sales potential. Follow the Sales Operating System (SOS) with disciplined usage of our CRM, accurate weekly forecasting, monthly pipeline reviews, and quarterly walk‑to‑plan. Relocate if necessary; this is a remote role with a preference for candidates residing in Florida or Georgia.
YOU MUST HAVE
At least 5 years of business development experience in the pulp & paper, battery manufacturing, or packaging industries. Strong ability to develop relationships with decision makers within new customer accounts. Track record of identifying new opportunities, developing, and implementing successful pursuit strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.WE VALUE
Background in process control, automation, paper quality control, and a sound understanding of manufacturing operations and work processes. Independent problem‑solving skills. Ability to forge solid relationships externally and internally, and lead across a geographically dispersed business. Demonstrated ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision. Consistent, timely decision‑making even in complex environments. Strong sense of urgency in communication and teamwork. Experience with business development. Excellent team and communication skills. Self‑starter who thrives in an evolving sales environment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Understanding of value proposition and competitive landscape. Ability to develop and implement effective communication plans for internal and external customers. Bachelor’s degree. Salary range: $100,000‑140,000. Base salary offers vary by experience, education, geography, and other factors.
