Job Description Waldorf Astoria New York is seeking a Maître d’hotel Hospitality Coordinator for Lex Yard – a new era of luxury dining. This role requires an individual with a warm, engaging presence, keen eye for detail and passion for Forbes five‑star hospitality. As the first and last impression for guests, you will establish a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, ensuring seamless, personalized arrival, dining and departure experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests with warmth and sophistication, escorting them to their tables to set the tone for an elevated dining experience. Oversee restaurant staff and service execution to deliver seamless and memorable fine dining experiences that exceed guest expectations. Maintain the reservation system and logbook, expertly coordinating seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency and ambiance. Schedule and assign daily tasks, provide feedback and training for continuous refinement, and guide team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to the highest standards of fine dining service. Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
