Business Operations Lead

Our existing platform (previously known as SnapEDA) is the leading library tool for electrical engineers, helping 2 million engineers each year design products such as drones, electric cars, and satellites 10x faster. We are now building SnapMagic Copilot, which is built on a proprietary dataset of over 10 million components, schematic symbols, and footprints created by SnapMagic. As we scale aggressively, we’re building a culture of excellence, speed, and ownership — and we’re looking for a Business Operations Lead who thrives in a fast‑moving environment where impact is the name of the game. What You’ll Be Doing As SnapMagic’s Business Operations Lead, you will have a significant impact on the company, owning the entire business operations function — from high‑level strategy to tactical execution. You will also work collaboratively with teams across sales, marketing, partnerships, engineering, and customer success. Finance & Revenue Operations Oversee all financial operations, including payroll, budgeting, invoicing, expense management, and monthly financial flux analysis Prepare customer quotes and agreements in HubSpot, manage invoicing (recurring and ad‑hoc), and handle vendor setup forms and Stripe reconciliation Maintain financial dashboards and run monthly forecast updates, invoice and expense reports analysis Act on the payment aging report by following up on overdue accounts; maintain purchase order and credit tracking processes Manage equity administration through Carta Automate and continuously improve GTM workflows and systems (HubSpot, Google Sheets, Slides, etc.), and manage our HubSpot CRM Recruiting & People Operations Own the full recruiting lifecycle: source candidates, post and review job descriptions, manage pipelines, and drive recruiter accountability Train and support hiring managers and team admins in recruiting processes and manage outcomes Manage onboarding workflows, compliance trainings (E‑Verify, harassment prevention), and internal enablement programs Systems & Strategic Execution Automate routine processes with tools like HubSpot, QuickBooks, Stripe, and Google Workspace to improve efficiency and accuracy Maintain and enforce documentation standards: ensure Notion, SOPs, and Google Drive are well‑organized and up‑to‑date across all functions Run the OKR/KPI process: support leadership in quarterly planning and develop a framework for team accountability Champion a culture of documentation by owning and managing our Notion and Google Drive workspaces Track and manage SLAs across the organization Manage the legal contract pipeline: track status, enforce SLA timelines, and coordinate with external counsel to ensure timely completion of vendor forms, NDAs, and compliance documentation Office & General Business Operations Manage relationships with vendors, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to meet operational needs and negotiate renewals Maintain daily office operations: mail handling, inventory, cleanliness, and supplies Who You Are Track record of success in an operational role at a VC‑backed startup (seed or SeriesA stage) Exceptional organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines Strong reasoning, analytical, and systems‑thinking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills High standards of excellence from yourself and those around you Self‑motivated with a hunger to learn, grow, and make a massive impact Thrives in a results‑oriented environment, making fast decisions and moving the ball forward Resourceful and instinctive problem‑solver who can figure out unknowns with ease Benefits Mission & Impact: Make your mark – play a key role in revolutionizing the $1.3T electronics industry by building tools engineers rely on every day; Real ownership – we empower you to drive decisions, lead initiatives, and see the impact of your work firsthand Team & Culture: Tight‑knit team – a high‑trust, low‑ego group of passionate builders who care deeply about the mission and each other; Collaborative environment – transparency, shared context, and fast iteration across functions; Meaningful relationships – many teammates form lifelong friendships along the way Professional Development: Career growth opportunity to become GM, COO, or startup founder; Learn from the CEO; Accelerated learning across functions; Feedback & mentorship; Mastery‑focused curiosity and skill‑building Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation – salary and equity; Comprehensive healthcare – medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents; 401(k) plan – managed via Guideline Work Environment: Catered lunches on in‑office days (Mon, Wed, Fri); Hybrid environment – face‑time valued but also Tuesday and Thursday remote work #J-18808-Ljbffr
