A growing structural engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of building projects while playing a key role in project delivery, client management, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural engineering, proven project leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions across a variety of building types. Location: Greater Boston Area Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Responsibilities Lead structural design and analysis for building projects from concept through construction. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. Perform and oversee structural calculations, design documents, and construction administration services. Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure technical excellence. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of deliverables. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. 5-10+ years of structural engineering experience focused on buildings. Proven experience leading projects and working directly with clients. Strong understanding of structural design principles and applicable building codes. Experience with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, Revit, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Structural Engineer (SE) license. Experience mentoring junior staff. Strong project management skills. Experience across a variety of project sectors including commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
