Title: Property & Casualty Broker, Senior

Location: New York, NY (REMOTE)

Salary: $175,000k - $250,000k (dependent upon experience) + bonus and excellent benefits package

Summary:

Our client, a National Property & Casualty Insurance Broker is a seeking an experienced Sr. Property & Casualty Broker to join their growing! Position and is 100% REMOTE . The Sr. Broker is responsible for the strategic placement, negotiation, marketing, and servicing of complex commercial insurance accounts across multiple lines of coverage. This role serves as a senior technical insurance resource and carrier liaison, working closely with internal account management teams, underwriting partners, claims consultants, and client executives to deliver comprehensive risk transfer solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the marketing and placement of complex commercial insurance accounts including Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella/Excess, Cyber, Professional Liability, Environmental, and other specialty coverages.
• Develop and execute comprehensive market strategies for renewals, new business opportunities, and challenging placements.
• Negotiate pricing, coverage terms, conditions, deductibles, and program structures with insurance carriers and wholesale brokers.
• Analyze insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and manuscript language to ensure appropriate coverage solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with account executives, account managers, risk consultants, and claims professionals to support overall client strategy and retention.
• Prepare and present marketing submissions, underwriting narratives, and exposure summaries to carriers.
• Evaluate carrier quotes and provide comparative analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and wholesale brokerage partners to maximize market access and negotiation leverage.
• Stay informed on market trends, emerging risks, carrier appetite changes, and industry developments affecting commercial insurance programs.
• Assist with complex coverage interpretation and resolve policy discrepancies or coverage issues.
• Support internal teams with technical insurance expertise, mentorship, and training.
• Participate in stewardship meetings, renewal strategy discussions, and client presentations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) experience
• Strong technical expertise across commercial insurance lines and coverage forms.
• Proven experience negotiating complex commercial insurance placements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
