If you are organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and facility operations, we encourage you to apply!Position OverviewThe Maintenance Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all maintenance operations in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role ensures the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, sanitary, and comfortable condition while supporting the needs of residents and facility staff.Key ResponsibilitiesDepartment Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, and oversee daily maintenance operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.Facility Maintenance: Ensure the building, equipment, utilities, and work areas are properly maintained and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.Safety and Compliance: Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, workplace safety, and compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.Inspections and Surveys: Participate in regulatory inspections, address maintenance deficiencies, and develop corrective action plans as needed.Vendor Management: Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed properly and according to established agreements.Infection Control: Maintain appropriate infection prevention practices, hazardous materials procedures, and safe handling and disposal of medical waste.Budget Management: Assist with department budgeting, monitor expenditures, and manage labor, supplies, and equipment efficiently.Team Development: Train, guide, and evaluate maintenance personnel to ensure established procedures and safety standards are consistently followed.Equipment and Supply Management: Monitor inventory, ensure equipment is functioning properly, and maintain adequate supplies for facility operations.Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Administrator and other department leaders to coordinate maintenance needs and minimize disruptions to resident care.Emergency Response: Respond to urgent facility maintenance issues and coordinate appropriate repairs or adjustments to work schedules.Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, safety documentation, and other required department records while protecting resident confidentiality.QualificationsAt least 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.Skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or long-term care maintenance experience strongly preferred.Previous supervisory or department leadership experience preferred.Why Join City View Post Acute?Competitive annual salary of $75,000–$95,000, depending on experience.Full-time leadership opportunity.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident safety, comfort, and quality of life.Collaborative work environment with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams.Opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated maintenance team.Make an Impact Every DayAt City View Post Acute, the Maintenance Director plays an essential role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
