Full-Time Long-Term Substitute Physical Education & Health Teacher

First Semester | 2026–27 School Year

Our client, a private high school in Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time, long-term, substitute Physical Education and Health Teacher for the first semester of the 2026–27 school year. This role involves teaching Physical Education and Health courses within a collaborative and student-focused department.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with adolescents, is committed to student wellness and engagement, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This educator will support students’ physical, social, and personal development while contributing to a positive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education and Health courses
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment that promotes student wellness
• Collaborate with Physical Education and Health colleagues on curriculum and instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Support the school’s mission and core values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
• Wisconsin DPI teaching license preferred (non-licensed candidates may be considered)
• Ability to deliver engaging Physical Education and Health instruction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
