Experience: Minimum of 5 years in cardiac ultrasound

License: Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification

Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required, Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have: Must be proficient in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo. Experience with Philips equipment is necessary. Knowledge of Epic is a plus. Ability to start IVs is advantageous. Experience with Lumason for imaging and bubble studies is required.

Description: The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment. This role involves scanning patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, and exercise testing. The technician will conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). This position operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. The Cardiac Sonographer reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
