Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, skillfully taking into account medical histories and co-occurring conditions that impact psychological health.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address both emotional and physical health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe, supportive environment for transformative conversation and growth.
• Collaborating with a network of healthcare providers to ensure that care is cohesive, timely, and effective across disciplines.
• Providing crisis intervention services as necessary, offering immediate support and developing action plans to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Lightfull Mind, you will primarily engage with individuals facing complex mental health challenges, many of whom have co-occurring medical conditions. Our patients reflect a rich diversity in backgrounds, experiences and needs, requiring a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy that addresses both mental health and physical health considerations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in the State of New York.
• Proven experience in treating individuals with both mental health and medical issues, showcasing the ability to perform integrated care.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• The capacity to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient trust and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and technology to enhance service delivery.

Preferred Experience
