Payroll Specialist

Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Tri-Cities Pay: $20 - $28 per hour Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records, including timesheets, deductions, and tax information. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing excellent customer service. Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as required. Stay current on payroll processing trends and best practices. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred. Proven experience in payroll processing or payroll-related roles. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
