Manual Machinist

Job Description Job Description Staff Source is seeking experienced manual machinists for our client in Griffith, IN. This manual machinist position is a full time, temp-to-hire position with a starting pay of $23+/hr depending on experience. It is currently available for 1st shift Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed. Once hired on you will receive full family medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401k with company match, and PTO. PPE will be covered including reimbursement for steel toe boots. Job Responsibilities: - Setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines - Reading and interpreting blueprints, and technical drawings - Maintaining high-quality standards - Using precision measuring tools to conduct inspections - Troubleshooting and fixing machining issues - Working independently Job Requirements: - Manual machinist experience of 5+ years - Blueprint reading skills - Proficiency with precision machining tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) - High attention to detail - GED/High School Diploma - Pass a drug test and background check - Ability to lift over 50lbs If you are looking to further your career in machining apply today!
