Position Summary

As an Analytics Reporting Specialist, you will own Marcel’s client reporting process end to end and turn it into a repeatable production process.

This role focuses on reporting production: building a standard report shell for every client, populating it with core data points each cycle, and leaving clear space for channel SMEs to layer on insights and recommendations.

You will work closely with Paid Media, SEO, Account Management, Project Management, and the Senior Martech / Technical Implementation Lead and the Measurement & Strategy Lead to ensure that:

• Every client receives a consistent, accurate report on schedule
• Core data is in place before SMEs add their insights
• Manual reporting effort keeps going down over time, replaced with automated time saving solutions

This role is ideal for someone who loves building systems, motivated to meet deadlines, cares deeply about data accuracy, and is excited to use AI and automation to do in hours what used to take days.

• Report Shells – A standard reporting framework for every client, adapted for lead gen, ecommerce, and channel mix
• Core Data Population – Pulling and validating the core metrics each reporting cycle
• SME-Ready Handoff – Reports built with clear space for SEO, Paid Media, and AMs to add insights
• AI & Automation – Using AI tools and connectors to speed up production and improve quality

This role complements the Senior Martech / Technical Implementation Lead, who owns tracking, implementation, and audits so the data feeding every report is accurate, and the Measurement & Strategy Lead, who owns measurement plans, forecasting, and client strategy.

Functions and Responsibilities

Reporting Process Ownership

• Own the reporting process across all clients: schedule, standards, templates, QA, and delivery against strict deadlines
• Document the process so reports are produced the same way every cycle, regardless of who touches them
• Track reporting turnaround and hours, and set targets to reduce both
• Work with PMs to build reporting into ClickUp sprints and recurring task schedules

Report Shells & Templates

• Create and maintain a standard report shell for every client in Looker Studio (and similar tools)
• Define the core data points each report includes, by client type and channel mix
• Build each new client’s report shell during onboarding
• Keep templates current as platforms, metrics, and client goals change

Data Population & QA

• Populate every report with its core data points each reporting cycle
• Connect and maintain data sources (GA4, ad platforms, Search Console, CRMs, Supermetrics or similar)
• QA data for accuracy and flag anomalies or tracking issues to the Implementation Lead
• Maintain AEO / AI search reporting using tools such as Peec, Profound, SEMRush

SME Handoff & Collaboration

• Deliver reports to SMEs and AMs with core data complete and space reserved for insights
• Gather feedback from SMEs and clients to keep improving report usefulness
• Field reporting requests from Paid Media, SEO, and AMs within agreed turnaround times

AI & Automation

• Find and test ways to use AI to speed up and improve report production, such as automated data pulls, first-pass observations, and anomaly detection
• Build automations that remove manual steps from the monthly refresh
• Share what works with the wider team and help set standards for AI-assisted reporting

Skills, Traits, & Abilities

Required

• 3–5 years of experience in digital or marketing analytics reporting
• Advanced Looker Studio (or similar BI tool) skills, including data blending and calculated fields
• Strong working knowledge of GA4 and ad platform reporting (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads)
• Experience building repeatable reporting templates across many clients
• Process-minded: experience documenting and improving a recurring workflow
• Hands-on use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to speed up work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to manage 15+ client reporting schedules at once
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders

Strongly Preferred

• Agency experience
• Experience with data connectors such as Supermetrics, Fivetran, or Funnel
• Experience with automation tools such as Make or Zapier
• Basic SQL or BigQuery

Bonus Skills & Experience

• Building AI workflows or agents for reporting
• Python or Apps Script
