JOB SUMMARY - Non-Skilled Home Care Services

Provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation
• Eating
• Dressing
• Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Assisting with the change of ostomy appliances, Reinforcement of dressings, Medication reminders, Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises, Measuring and preparing special diets, Taking vital signs, Incontinence care

SERVICE AREAS: This position is for the Four Corners area but we also service Lake Nona, Meadow Woods, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Poinciana, Reunion, Championsgate and Celebration.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid HHA Certificate or CNA License
• Current CPR Certificate
• Level ll Background Check
• Valid Driver License
• Reliable Car
• Active Car Insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Medical specialties: Home Health

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Overnight shift, Overtime, Weekend availability

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Home Health Care: 1 year (Preferred)
