Certified Nursing Assistants CNA and Home Health Aides HHA

Overview Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aids and/or CNAs for the Halifax/Bridgewater area to assist a senior client with Dementia with activities of daily living, household support, exercise and companionship. Shifts Monday–Thursday 10am–6pm; Friday and Saturday 10am–8pm; Sunday 10am–4pm. Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living and personal care. Assist with light housekeeping. Encourage walking, exercising, and stimulating conversation. Assist with activities and exercise according to the Care Plan. Encourage fluid intake and, per orders/Care Plan, possible meal preparation. Document shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone. Report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner. Qualifications Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification. 2+ years of experience with your certification. Kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled HHA/CNA. Experience working with Dementia. Clean driving record and ability to pass a CORI check. Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray. Speak, read, and write English clearly; effective communication skills. Owns a cell phone. Benefits Competitive pay; weekly pay on Fridays by direct deposit. Sick pay.
