Your Impact As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of Accelevation’s financial information. Your work will directly support leadership decision‑making, financial reporting, and audit readiness as the company continues to scale rapidly. You will contribute to strong internal controls, best‑in‑class accounting practices, and cross‑functional support in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation Preparing, reviewing, and adjusting standard and non‑standard journal entries Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial close activities within established deadlines Assisting with preparation of audit support and documentation for periodic financial statement audits Performing intuitive ad‑hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed Reviewing general ledger activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages Analyzing existing accounting procedures and recommending improvements to implement best practices Leading seasonal or special general accounting project initiatives as assigned Serving as a resource for accounting questions and providing ad‑hoc analytical support across the organization Maintaining a strong focus on internal controls and continuously assessing control effectiveness Backfilling responsibilities for other accountants as needed to ensure continuity of operations Ensuring compliance with company policies, GAAP, and applicable accounting standards Developing, documenting, and maintaining accounting procedures and internal controls Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) 5+ years of experience in general accounting or a related field CPA certification preferred Strong working knowledge of GAAP and experience with ERP systems Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to function effectively in a team‑oriented environment High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information Core Competencies Accuracy: Maintains high standards of financial precision and data integrity Accountability: Takes ownership of financial processes, timelines, and outcomes Judgment: Exercises sound decision‑making in complex accounting scenarios Continuous Improvement: Identifies and implements process enhancements and best practices Collaboration: Works effectively across teams to support organizational goals Integrity: Upholds confidentiality, ethics, and trust at all times Benefits Competitive salary and performance bonus Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan with company match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Collaborative, high‑performance workplace Job Application Notice Accelevation LLC does not ask for payment or sensitive personal details, such as bank account or Social Security numbers, during the job application process.
