Customer Service Representative / Administrative Support
Location: Freehold, NJ
Position: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Flexible
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and versatile Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Freehold, NJ office.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with customers and sales reps. Customer service dedicated to one sales rep will be the primary responsibility, but this role will also assist with Accounts Receivable for the same assigned sales rep and customer service for other customers as needed.
We are looking for a team player who is willing to learn, take initiative, and help keep things moving.
Responsibilities
•       Provide friendly and professional customer service by phone and email to customers and sales reps
Help your assigned sales rep complete tasks like quotes, orders, creating meetings in outlook and teams
•       Assist customers with orders, product questions, pricing, availability, and general inquiries
•       Enter and process customer orders accurately
•       Follow up on orders and help resolve customer service issues
Build new items as needed
•       Maintain accurate records and organized files
•       Help with special projects and other administrative duties as needed
•       Manage accounts receivable for one primary sales rep including following up on delinquent payments via phone and email, updating customer account notes to reflect any changes
What We're Looking For
•       Previous customer service or office experience required
•       Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•       Good organizational skills and attention to detail
•       Comfortable working on a computer and learning new software
•       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
•       Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks REQUIRED
•       Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
•       Positive, team-oriented attitude
•       Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities outside of traditional customer service duties
•       Enjoy a fast paced atmosphere
