PACKAGER

SUMMARY:

Coordinates/works with the Finishing Supervisor, Finishing Lead and/or Production Manager by performing the following duties:

DUTIES:

Process information from the production orders Count and bag and/or wrap material in quantities required Make proper label to affix to the package Properly complete worksheets and move the job to the next area of production Follow relevant safety/health and environmental regulations Clean and maintain work area Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be fluent in English

SPECIAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

Must possess the following skills: Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and job tickets . Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to apply information, and variables, learned from one task, or project, to other similar situations.
