People like you!**Job Description****Role:** Maintenance Technician**Job Summary:** Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.**Compensation:** $30.43 - $40.48 an hour**Benefits*** Health Insurance (includes teledoc, virtual health, FSA, & other benefits)* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* Life Insurance* Health Spending Account* Employee Support and Mental Wellness* Short term disability* 401k Match* Paid vacation* Floating days* Employee Assistance Program* Employee Engagement Events* Awards and Recognition* Tuition Reimbursement* Service Awards* Employee Perks & Discounts**Job Responsibilities*** Learning the processes of how products are made and all the steps that go into it.* Learning about site-specific equipment and how it should properly function.* Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment* Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instruments* Dismantling and reassembling of equipment using hand and power tools.* Inspecting and assessing the wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components* Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the Company’s procedures, rules, and regulations.**Qualifications*** The position is subject to 24-hour call-out, shift, and weekend work.* Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas.* Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices* 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment* Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred* Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment* Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals* Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software* Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment**Benefits of Employment:** IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
