Business Analyst

Business AnalystChevo is hiring a Business Analyst to join our expanding firm. This position will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. The ideal candidates will support Program/Project Management activities, Strategic Business Management, Business Process Analysis and Improvement, and Business Intelligence Analysis and Visualization support for IT projects and programs, with a focus on ServiceNow.Duties and Responsibilities:Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements; translate stakeholder needs into clear, testable specifications and user-focused deliverablesMap and improve end-to-end business processes across directorates; recommend efficiencies and continuous-improvement opportunitiesDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, process flows, training/how-to guides, and other documentationBuild and sustain project/process metrics, support business intelligence, data analysis, and visualizationFacilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, interviews, and workshops with leadership, IPTs, working groups, and key stakeholdersSupport governance activities (planning, scheduling, briefings, notes, and publication)Utilize the ServiceNow environment to support requirements validation, configuration/integration coordination, testing support, deployment preparation, and post-production considerations as requiredProduce professional, executive-ready written and visual artifactsTake on other tasks to ensure timely and quality submission of deliverables.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higherActive Secret clearance or higherMinimum 1-2 years demonstrated knowledge of utilizing ServiceNow5 years' experience supporting DoD programs5 years of intermediate knowledge of supporting DoD Software Development Project and Programs5 years of demonstrated intermediate knowledge of gathering, analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements5 years of experience in professional writing: Creating and completing process documentation, to include but not limited to training and instructional information, guidelines, workflows maps, processes, and procedural documentation5 years of experience developing processes, tools, templates, developing and maintaining metrics5 years of demonstrated experience managing six sigma projects following the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) cycle.Desired Qualifications:Practical familiarity with ServiceNow ESD capabilities and adjacent modules/products (e.g., CSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, WSD, plus APM, FSM, SAM, SecOps for Devices, IRM/Integration Hub, App Engine)Experience facilitating IPTs/working groups and supporting governance in complex, multi-stakeholder DoD environmentsStrong executive communication and change-management acumenProficiency in business intelligence and data visualization to drive data-driven decision-making and operational performance dashboardsFamiliarity with PMI/Agile practices used across the program excellent client interfacing skills.Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000ELIGIBLE FOR PERFORMANCE BASED BONUSChevo offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid leave, observes all 11 federal government holidays, 401K plan with matching, monthly SMART card employer contribution for commuting expenses, tuition assistance and more!Chevo, a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), has made Consulting Magazine's 2023 and 2024 "Best Firms to Work For" list and is a 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Elev8 GovCon honoree.
