Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly communicating each step with empathy and professionalism
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records through the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
