Assistant Clinical Director

Assistant Clinical Director leads daily clinical operations and provides direct patient care in home health and hospice settings. The role blends leadership, mentoring, and regulatory compliance to improve patient outcomes. It offers a hybrid leadership and patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in home health and hospice settings as needed

Assist with oversight of daily clinical operations and workflow coordination

Support clinical staff through mentoring, education, and leadership guidance

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Assist in maintaining compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards

Participate in care planning, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance

Support staff scheduling, patient assignments, and operational needs

Help implement policies and procedures that promote patient-centered care

Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and support staff

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

BLS certification required

Previous leadership or supervisory experience required

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills required

Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative leadership duties

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Home health and/or hospice experience preferred

Knowledge of home health and hospice regulations and standards preferred
