Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality wooden pallets and crates on the production line, ensuring each item meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your hands-on mechanical skills and familiarity with wooden assembly environments will help drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
- Assemble components and subassemblies using nail guns, power tools, and assembly line equipment to meet production targets.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines to ensure precise assembly and quality control.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled products to identify defects or issues, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking parts and supplies used during assembly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a pallet manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly line processes is essential.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other basic manufacturing equipment.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and manual tasks throughout shifts.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
