Facilities Maintenance Technician
Ernie Ball | Full-Time Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Overview
Ernie Ball is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a safe, efficient facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, tools, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues quickly and safely
- Complete preventative maintenance (PM) and inspections
- Respond to production support requests in a timely manner
- Operate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, power tools)
- Maintain clean, organized work and storage areas
- Keep accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Experience with woodworking and/or metalworking equipment preferred
- Familiarity with compressed air and vacuum systems a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (standing/sitting as needed)
