PRN Hospice Care | Flexible Coverage + Meaningful Patient Impact Posted: 05-Jul-26 Location: Saint Louis, Missouri Position Overview BJC HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Hospice Physician / Associate Medical Director to support hospice and palliative care services across the St. Louis region. This role provides clinical expertise, interdisciplinary leadership, and support for high‑quality, patient‑centered care for individuals with serious or life‑limiting illness. Key Responsibilities Provide physician services to hospice patients, including admissions, recertifications, and ongoing care management Support the Medical Director in overseeing clinical quality and compliance with hospice regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nurses, social workers, and chaplains. Participate in care planning and case conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide guidance on symptom management, pain control, and end‑of‑life decision‑making. Assist with on‑call coverage as needed in a PRN capacity. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, documentation requirements, and best practices.
