Fund Accounting Supervisor

Most fund accounting roles promise growth. This one actually gives you the opportunity to run the fund. We’re hiring a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join a growing private equity fund administration platform supporting sophisticated alternative investment managers across private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, energy and other strategies. This is a strong opportunity for someone who has built the technical foundation and is ready for more ownership, more client exposure and a clear path to continue advancing their career. You’ll independently oversee the accounting and operations of private equity funds while leading and developing a small team. Rather than being limited to one piece of the process, you’ll have exposure across the full fund lifecycle. What you’ll own: Fund accounting and day-to-day operations for assigned clients Capital calls, distributions and investor allocations Waterfalls, management fees and fund economics Quarterly and annual financial statements Complex fund structures including SPVs, blockers, parallel funds, AIVs and co-investments Review and interpretation of LPAs, side letters and governing documents Review of NAVs, financial reporting and complex transactions Direct communication with clients and senior leadership Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members New fund launches and ongoing process improvements What we’re looking for: 3+ years of private equity fund accounting, administration or investment company accounting experience Hands-on experience with waterfalls, allocations and complex fund structures Experience reviewing financial statements and fund deliverables Comfortable working directly with LPAs and other governing documents Previous team leadership or supervisory experience CPA is preferred but not required Why consider it? 2-3 days a week in office and you’ll join an established, growing platform with exposure to sophisticated private markets clients and a wide variety of fund structures.
